Beautiful scenery, lots of wildlife, and well maintained trails with great signage. Love it here
Very kid friendly, with a play area containing books, puzzles, etc. Plenty of animals to see, alive and stuffed. Outdoor areas to explore, trails, and a pier.
Fabulous place, great ramp, plenty of parking, super staff, friendly natives! We go there regularly to access upper Chesapeake to Rock Hall or Baltimore. Check your draft, tho. Anything over 24" at low tide is not going to make it.
This is a great place to go if you want an interactive learning experience. It's also a great place to go if you want to go for a nice walk or easy hike. There are many trails and awesome programs and activities for the whole family.
I spent an entire day exploring this park with my friends and pup. We walked out onto the water on piers, past farmhouses into fields filled with purple martins, past ponds filled with bull frogs, through shady woods and over bridges. There's even more we did not see. The trails are well marked and most are paved or boarded. There's a small zoo and straw huts and a fantastic nature center. Treat yourself. Pack a lunch and just go spend the day exploring.
