It is rare to see this type of top-quality service. I have been involved in a number of businesses over forty-five years, and have always strived to treat the customer like gold. I needed to have a wooden-sash window which was broken repaired. I called Glass and Screen Hospital, and Andy, the owner, came in person with Glenn to estimate the job. They were able to come the same day I called, and the following day, I spoke with Linda in their office who gave me the final cost and set the repair appointment. Ken, one of their staff, came early for the appointment, replaced the broken glass, and Reset the window. He explained every step of the repair, very professional.
I called Tuesday to set up an estimate. They said they could do it on Thursday and would call Wednesday to confirm and give me a time frame. No call on Wednesday. Called at 8:50 Thursday morning. They said 12-3. Cool! They called me back 5 min later to say someone was in my area and could come in an hr. So an hr and half go by...I call back and they tell me that they MIGHT be able to make it within the next hr or two because they are trying to fit me in. If you call days ahead of time, not an emergency...why should you be on the wait list??
I was in desperate need of someone to drill drain and faucet holes in my 3/4" thick glass counter top. No one in the Harrisburg, PA had the capability to do this. After making numerous phone calls, I decided to call Glass and Screen Hospital, as their website indicated that they could provide this service. Andrew went above and beyond to ensure this would be done in time for my party, which was in two weeks. He told me that he would take care of me, and he did! Good old fashioned customer service! We are so pleased that he came through for us, prioritizing us, and going above and beyond anyone else! Our bathroom looks amazing and our guests we're "wowed!" Can't recommend Andrew and Glass and Screen Hospital enough! Totally worth the drive for me!! Thank you!!!
